Our lamb finishing feeding systems are automated and electronically controlled with all intakes being recorded on the IntelliFarm Blockchain database. All our rations are divided into proteins, roughage and grains. These are summed electronically to give an accurate indication of the diet each animal consumed during its lifetime.

Lamb meat composition is significantly influenced by its dietary intake. Feedlots commonly use high grain percentages in finishing rations to promote rapid weight gain and intramuscular fat development. Typically, these rations have grain contents ranging from 60% to 90%, with protein, supplements and roughages making up the remainder.
However, LANDRANI® Lamb takes a different approach by incorporating only 30% grain into our finishing ration. This lower grain intake can have several beneficial effects on the health composition of the lamb fat:
